Very often ignored by parents, either as a condition their children will grow out of, or one they may be too embarrassed to discuss, lazy eye (amblyopia) is something that can be treated and corrected. The issue is that the longer it is left unchecked, the harder it is for the patient to overcome, especially in adolescence or adulthood.
This disease awareness campaign was created for an international audience and sought to educate parents, in particular, of the prevalence of amblopia, how it is diagnosed, and the ways it can be treated.
